Over 20 years ago, Grand Banks Specialty Foods began with a specialized focus on perfecting the curing and smoking of Atlantic salmon, to deliver the best Smoked Atlantic Salmon to its customers. From this one exceptional product, the company’s epicurean founder, Bill Froehlich, turned his gaze upon the world of fresh and smoked sausage.  Utilizing the years of knowledge and experience he earned as a chef, he formulated proprietary recipes for gourmet fresh and smoked sausages still used to this day.  The brand grew organically as a result of the consistency and unparalleled quality present in Grand Banks Specialty Foods product line.  The company expanded to include the manufacture of charcuterie items as well as Portuguese Specialty meat items.  Grand Banks’ dedication to excellence was illustrated yet again in 2007 when Bill worked side by side with the former owner of Baltasar & Sons Portuguese Sausage Company to ensure conservation of the authentic Portuguese recipes for his products.  Grand Banks Specialty Foods strives each day to create new and exciting gourmet products while upholding the quality that has been the cornerstone for our success.

At Grand Banks Specialty Foods, a family run gourmet food producer, using all natural & fresh ingredients is only a part of our recipe to ensure our poultry, meat and fish products are of the highest quality. Each product is handcrafted with pride.
